Picture Day is Coming!
It will be held on September 12th at AFC Elementary School and AFC Jr/Sr High School. Get ready to say “cheese” and don’t forget – please do NOT wear green.
CollegeBoard National Recognition Program is an annual academic award program for thousands of deserving students, including ours! AFC celebrates the hard work of seniors Mallory Coffman and Ayden Willstead, recipients of the National Rural and Small Town Recognition Program Award. This award honors their high academic achievement in the classroom and their scores in the top 10% of Illinois students who took the SAT this past spring. Join us in celebrating their hard work!

🏐🇺🇸The AFC Lady Raider Volleyball team will be having a Volley for Vets fundraiser game on Wednesday, September 4th. All donations will benefit the Oscar Mike Foundation in Marengo, IL. Check out Oscarmike.org to learn about all the ways they help support veterans!🇺🇸🏐
This will be the Lady Raiders Home Opener with JV starting at 5:30 pm followed by Varsity.
Rev On 38 will be there with a limited menu to help you get pumped up and excited to cheer on your favorite Lady Raider and support a great local cause.
There will be a raffle for special baskets put together by the team.
If you would like to make a donation or provide a basket to raffle please contact Johnnice Dorn or Jamie Cooper by September 2nd.
🚨Varsity Football Time Change🚨
2023-2024 AFC High School Yearbooks can be picked up at back to school night on Tuesday, August 20th from 6-7pm at the Jr/Sr High School. There is a limited supply of extra yearbooks available to purchase for $45.
Come on out to Meet the Raiders next Friday (8/23) @ 6:00pm in the high school gym. Also, see the attachment for an update from our Cheerleaders!

K-2 Parents! Please remember to provide a paint shirt for your young artist. Mrs. Coffman suggests a long-sleeved t-shirt that is simply a little big for your youngster. These have cuffed sleeves and are easy for kids to put on by themselves. Aprons and short sleeves do not cover their arms and plastic does not hold up well. Kids will start painting September 3rd. If they do not have a paint shirt----THEY STILL PAINT! #afcart #artball
