Biology students working on cellular movements by using eggs to demonstrate osmosis and diffusion.
The seniors in Constitution/Civics class conducted a mock trial this week. The mock trial court was a part of our studies of the Justice System.
Lee County was in driver’s education today to walk students through a traffic stop. They covered the documentation needed and appropriate behavior during a traffic stop.
Tomorrow's boys basketball game will be played at West Carroll Middle School in Mt. Carroll. The address is: 633 S. East St. Mt. Carroll.

Raider of the Week is Back!
Congratulations to Kaleb Goldman for receiving Raider of the Week for basketball. Kaleb averaged a double-double in points and rebounds for the previous week. He is the son of Amanda Goldman and Bill Goldman.

During the "Food We Eat" Unit, the 8-2 class taste-tested different types of pickles and compared them to cucumbers, learning about how different ingredients change the taste. Some pickles were more well liked than others!
We have updated our district calendar and revised the student dismissal time on December 21st, our last day before Christmas break. The elementary will dismiss at 1:30pm and the Junior Senior High School will dismiss at 1:45.

The Academy at Sauk Valley Community College provides access to an engaging and rewarding college experience to high achieving high school seniors. The Academy is built on four educational tenants:
