There has been a lunch menu change for the elementary school on Monday, September 26th. We will now be serving popcorn chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and a fruit.
Just a friendly reminder, tomorrow is the last day to return your order form if you plan to order one of our "The Raider Way" t-shirts (order form below).

1) Today's 6th grade volleyball game will be played at Nash Recreation Center in Oregon at 4:00.

AFC still needs a 6th grade boys basketball coach and a 7th grade boys basketball coach. Practice can start as early as October 3rd.
We are also in need of a JV boys basketball coach. Practice for high school starts November 7th.

Fall Sports pictures will be taken on Wednesday, September 21 starting at 2:00. Brochures should come home with the athletes in the next couple of days.
7/8 volleyball, high school volleyball, and cheer will be taken in the high school gym. The photographer will then travel to ES for 6 volleyball. Finally, football will be taken at the football field in Franklin Grove.

Spanish 2 students practiced ordering food from a restaurant in Spanish today!
Thank you to the PTC for organizing and funding the 7th & 8th grade field trip to The Rink at Pine Creek this past Friday. The students had a lot of fun. We appreciate everything the PTC does to support and create opportunities for AFC students. Thank you also to all of the volunteer chaperones that made this event go so smoothly.
Students in Plant Science using Vernier sensors to test the pH of soil. Nutrient availability is very dependent on soil pH.
