Advanced Science and Anatomy students traveled to NIU, where they engaged in an immersive Anatomy short course. Delving into the intricacies of the human body, students were afforded the unique opportunity to interact first hand with bones, anatomical models, cutting-edge anatomage tables, and cadavers. Following a dynamic morning session in the laboratory, students transitioned into a collegiate-level practicum, further enhancing their understanding and practical skills in the field. Thank you to the NIU staff and Mrs Engelbarts for offering this unique learning opportunity to AFC students!
Baseball venue update! (yes, we are still playing)
Congratulations to our March Students of the Month!
On Wednesday evening, AFC FFA members Luke Dorn, Corey Heinrich, Dani Kaecker, Nivea Noon, Jennica Taft, Elsie Viall, and Kate Viall participated in the District Conduct of Chapter Meeting Leadership Development Event. In order to get to the district event, the team had to qualify at the section level. The event involves opening and closing ceremonies and showing how to properly run a meeting. The team placed 7th. Our freshman could move up to the parliamentary procedure team and our 7th graders are already planning for big things next year. #AFCFFA

Sauk Valley Community College will host a CTE Open House on April 11. This is a great event for students and families to explore the many opportunities available post graduation.
Sign up is now open for @SVCCImpact! Current in-district 8th grade students have until September 1 of their freshman year
