If going to softball game, softball games are played in German Valley. To get to German Valley, take a right off of IL-72 onto Adeline Rd. At stop sign beyond Adeline, turn right onto W. Coffman Rd which will eventually curve into N. Rock City Rd. In German Valley, turn left at stop sign onto E. German Valley Rd. On west edge of town, softball field will be on the left.

If going to baseball game, baseball games are played at Warnken Park in Forreston. Go past high school and turn right onto N. Locust Rd. Turn right onto E. State St. or go one more block and turn right onto E. Avon St. Either route will take you to Warnken Park.

IL-26 North out of Forreston, less than one mile out of town, turn right onto Baileyville Rd. Baileyville Road turns north and runs parallel to IL-26 into Freeport. Once in Freeport you will cross South St. and Business 20 (Galena Ave.) and Baileyville will turn into Armstrong Avenue, all without turning. There will be parking available off Armstrong/Empire. From here you will be able to walk to the entrance that puts you on our side of the football field or even the school. Allow 6065 minutes from AFC High School.

If going to softball game, softball games are played at Read Park in Freeport. Follow IL-26 all the way into Freeport. Just past Freeport High School, turn left onto W. Empire St. Read park is on the right.

Baseball games are played at either Highland Community College or Krape Park. To get to Highland, follow IL-26 just past Wal-Mart on the edge of Freeport and turn left onto W. Fairgrounds Rd. Follow until you get to round about. Take the exit off of the round about for W. Pearl City Rd. Go past the Highland College entrance. The entrance to the baseball fields is a gravel drive on the right.

To get to Krape Park, follow IL-26 to W. Fairgrounds road (just past Wal-Mart) and turn left. The road will curve to the north and just before it starts to curve back west, turn right on S. Park Rd. At the first Y, turn right. At the second Y, turn left. Follow the road into Krape Park. Follow the main road to the right around the park. The parking lot for the baseball field will be on the left.

Turn right on IL-26 and go through Forreston until you get to IL-72 West. 26 North and 72 West merge in Forreston. Follow the signs for 72 West. You will turn left onto IL-72 West a couple miles outside of Forreston and go through Shannon until you get to IL-73 North. Go North on IL-73 through Pearl City until you get to IL-20 just before Lena. Turn left onto Il-20 and go west through Stockton and Elizabeth. Galena will be IL-20 about 35 miles. Once you enter Galena stay on IL-20 through town. You will cross the Galena River and start heading north. Turn right at the McDonald’s, go one block and turn left into the elementary school parking lot. The football field is behind the school. Parking in the elementary school parking lot is best because it will permit access to the game and the visitor’s side of the field. For the high school go past McDonald’s, up the hill and turn right onto Franklin St. Allow at least 2 hours drive time to Galena.
